PLAS uses the following four main technologies for manufacturing of its products. Our plants expertise in one of two of these technologies to give a full scope of supply to our customers.

Injection stretch blow molding is the production of bottles from preformed tubes made from PET or PP resin. In a single stage (where the preformed tubes and bottles are produced inside a single machine) or a double stage (where preformed tubes are produced separately from the final bottle form) machinery these preformed tubes take their final shape as a bottle or a vial by first reheating and then streching with a core rod while blowing pressurized air.

PLAŞ has made serious investments in this field from machinery makers originating from France, Italy and Japan which all are the leading innovators of this technology.

Extrusion blow molding is one of the oldest technologies used in the manufacturing of plastic containers. Melted plastic resins flows in the form of a hollow tube (parison), cut at the mold size and then blown pressurized air to take the shape of mold.

PLAŞ has made serious investments in this field from machinery makers originating from Italy and molds made in-house by our own tool shop or molds sourced from leading Turkish mold-makers.

Injection blow molding is the production of bottles from preformed tubes made from PET, PP or PE resin. In a single stage machinery (where the preformed tubes and bottles are produced inside a single machine) these preformed tubes take their final shape as a bottle or a vial by first conditioning the already hot preforms and then blowing pressurized air.

PLAS  has made serious investments in this field from machinery makers originating from Americas and Far East which all are the leading innovators of this technology.

Injection molding is the flow of PET, PP or PE resin into steel molds under high pressure. In this way, the plastic resins take the shape of steel mold.

PLAŞ has made serious investments in this field from machinery makers originating from Germany and molds sourced from Europe.

Established in 2011,PLAS Tool Shop takes the responsbility of manufacturing most of our molds required to produce bottle and caps made from plastic resin. Blow molds for PET, PP and PE resin based products, machine spare parts, mold spare parts, etc. are produced in-house to decrease our dependancy on other suppliers.
